Unemancipated is a collection of poetry that relate to the social challenges, mysteries, and passions of diverse women. Our so-called freedoms can sometimes be our imprisonments. Just because we can do something does not always mean that it is in our best interest to do it. Although physical chains have been broken, it is the invisible chains that still detain us from obtaining a true sense of peace, love, and joy-real freedom. This book is written from the perspective of a daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend.
