The Summer House

In a small rosewood box, Matt’s mother had kept her memories of his childhood. Amongst them are many photos of him as a little boy. But something about them has always puzzled Matt - is that really him? Why did he not remember those clothes? The toys? And where, in these photos, is his sister Imogen? He wrestles with an odd lack of recognition - a strange unsettling feeling that something is not quite right.

Meanwhile, Imogen is living with her husband, a country vet, and their gorgeous baby in a rented cottage. Since their childhood, she and Matt have both adored the beautiful Summer House - a charming building in the grounds of an ancient house on Exmoor. Now they have the chance to buy.
