After having taught high school English and theater for 30+ years, Mary Knox-Johnson retired to see how the real world lives. After completing her short list of things to do , which included a swim with dolphins and the writing of two children’s books, Mary began a self taught venture into the realm of origami.
She is also an experienced rug maker and weaver who dabbles in water colors and basket making. Her work can be seen in the Gallery North Art Gallery in Bemidji, Minnesota.
She and her husband Dwayne live near Bemidji, Minnesota where Mary continues her work as an independent theater director, costumer and scenic designer.
