A collection of poems about the every-day life, the uncertainties of life, mistrust and misfortunes, nature and beauty, desires and aspirations, human encounters, human errors, societal values, family, love, the African life and being African - based on the Author’s personal experiences while growing up in rural Nigeria. Most of the poems were written when the Author was in his mid-twenties and idle; with life seeming treacherous, and the future yet uncertain and confusing. The poems are written with an open or flexible interpretation. It is hoped that the reader would try and interpret the poems based on his/her personal experiences and/or circumstances. Nevertheless, each of the poems has a personal meaning to the Author.
