Post-Modern Poetry

The world that we live in is much different than it was 10, 20, or 30 years ago. Long gone are the days of people trying to be self-sufficient using garden tools on land passed down through generations. This is a post-modern world after all of the philosophizing and art grandeur of the past. This is the age of technology, advertising, and self-actualization. Jeremy Alexander Duhart lays out some of the characteristics of this post-modern age in poems like Marketer and Simulacrum. His education combined with a natural curiosity and a love for writing and music allows him to put some of his knowledge into prose. He is an avid listener of podcasts and reader of internet articles and books. His natural curiosity leads him to research various topics that he finds interesting.
