Joseph a Jones
This story paints a chilling portrait of an individual’s obsession that was so strong it interfered with his daily life. He became lost between what was real and what was unreal. He could not accept or see a positive self-image or accept self-limitations. The compulsive acts that he performed without knowing why he did them were abnormal.Dr. Joseph A. Jones was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the West Virginia State University in 1950, a master’s degree from the New York University in 1961 and a Ph.D from the University of Maryland in 1973. He served in the United States Army as a warrant officer. He later joined the Maryland State Guard and retired with the rank of full colonel. He taught at the Coppin State University and retired as Head of the Department HPER in 1985.
