MoMo, the Crane, and the Goldfish

MoMo the Basset Hound, with his long body, big feet, short legs, droopy eyes, long nose, and ears he’s always stepping on, is the guardian of his family’s pond. When a crane comes to the area and begins to gobble up all the fish, MoMo makes it his mission to protect his friend goldfish at all costs–and hopefully stay dry in the process! Will he succeed?

About the Author

Growing up a hardworking farm girl in East Texas, Mary Sweeney is not afraid to get dirt under her fingernails. She is the fifth of eight children born and raised on a farm, where her family raised chickens, cows, horses, mules, and pigs, and grew corn, beans, peas, potatoes, and watermelon, along with many other crops. After graduating high school, Sweeney married and moved to North Texas, where she resides today.
