The language of theology originated in the thought patterns of antiquity. Thought patterns have changed dramatically today. Unless one can translate ancient patterns of thought into modern ways of thinking, theology is a difficult subject, prone to misunderstanding. This book attempts to express traditional theological concepts in ways compatible with modern thinking. It is the hope of the author that people will find this attempt helpful.
