About the Author
Author Margo A. Beehler was born and raised in central Minnesota. She later moved with her three kids and husband to a small town. When her children grew and started to leave, there was a huge void in her life. Beehler started working at a house for challenged children and adults. She loved to work with people who were always so happy to see her and work with her. She took them on vacations and outings. Beehler started her own program called Challenge Wings. After telling made up children’s stories to many different people, Beehler’s granddaughter said, Grandma, why don’t you write a book? This gave Beehler the idea to write a book about the things that have been so important to her.
The Adventures of Minnie Lee and Her Underwater Friends was written to help young and old, overcome anything by showing kindness and respect and by accepting others less fortunate.
