Betty Ladley Finkbeiner is a retired Director of Dental Assisting at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI. She and her husband, Charles, a retired Computer Information’s Instructor at the same college, reside in Fort Myers, Florida with their cat, Pepper and a guest cat named Missy . For years Betty has wanted to write stories for children and adults about the lives of cats and their various antics. She has written many dental assistant textbooks but this is her first cat book. The writing was easy as this is a true story about a cat no one wanted until the Finkbeiners adopted her. Pepper has become a household treasure, but loving memories remain in their hearts of former cats including Squeak, Mr. Ed, Diz and Taz.
