My Shorts is a collection of poems and short stories, some autobiographical, most just fun fiction. There are relationship stories, ghost stories, westerns and science fiction. The poetry is often reflected in the short stories or based on personal experience. Borrowed Dreams was born out of The Sharecropper , a poem about the author’s paternal grandfather. Ode to a Black Pig is an interpretation of the author’s time serving on submarines.
