Transforming the printed biblical word into inspired spirit filled teaching.
In Ephesians 2:14 the apostle Paul, speaking of Christ says, For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation. Peace is so important to our human existence. Whether that be the peace that allows us to live in harmony with our fellow humans, or the most important type of peace that has to do with our relationship with God. Isaiah 53:5 says that Christ took the stripes that were meant for us. Often times believers do not fully and practically internalize the degree to which the Father has given us peace through His Son. In an objective sense that peace abides with us because of what Christ did. Yet because life is often lived within the margins of subjectivity our minds and emotions can be tossed to and fro. Hence, there is a need. Nay, a responsibility for us to not only repent when need be, but to especially embrace and walk in the victorious position that Jesus has bestowed upon us. Such a mind set is sadly not as common as it should be among Christians and that tragically has to do with the quality of teaching that exists among believers. For our inheritance as disciples of Christ is not the Law (attempting to achieve sinless perfection on our own) nor is it religious morality, (works) it is a grace through faith victory that teaches us to deny ungodliness. (Titus 2:11-12)
