As a Christian servant, this book will tell you why man needs to work out his own salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12,13; I Pet. 1:17) when he desires to follow Christ, glorify God (I Cor. 10:31; Rom.11:36) and reach heaven. It will require sacrifice of self-will. Because of traditions, convenience, preachers, family and so-forth, many seekers of heaven are walking the road of easy legalistic extremes - still with hopes of someday living in heaven when they die. These extremes may represent the very reason that Solomon wrote, There is a way which seemeth right unto a man; but the end thereof are the ways of death (Prov. 14:12; 16:25). Perhaps this is also one of the reasons why God will TRY every man’s work of what sort it is to receive his reward or suffer loss (I Cor. 3:12-16; Rev. 22:12).
