From boardrooms to newsrooms, from colleges to Congress, Jenny Foster is fast becoming the toast of Washington. As a personal-image consultant, she works miracles with her clients, turning the tongue-tied into public speakers and wallflowers into social butterflies. But her newest client, Steve Voight, is causing her problems. She thinks he’s perfect just the way he is!Steve has come to the nation’s capital from the Midwest as a lobbyist for his fellow farmers, and he wants to fit in more with the politicians on the Hill. She sees the deep love between Hetty, a granddame in her eighties and Jenny’s closest friend, and Hetty’s newlywed husband. But, Jenny can’t see that kind of love in her future.
