Mark Larson is a man afraid to make romantic commitments, believing that any sort of relationship he consents to can only end tragically. After her divorce, Mori Jordan is convinced she can never trust another man. She wants nothing more than to make her horse business successful and provide a secure home for her daughter, Emily.
