Mi Tortuga/My Turtle

Whether snapping, hiding, or chewing on a bright leaf of lettuce, turtles are a favorite pet. Concepts such as responsibility, affection, care, and companionship are demonstrated in very clear, short sentences in both English and standard Latin American Spanish. Students explore the lives of turtles that they might encounter on a daily basis, developing a real sense of the diversity of life.
