Bronwyn is a beautiful, successful author. She has just finished her second book and has decided to go on a working holiday. She files to the old pirate haunts in the Caribbean to do some research in pirates for her third book. When she gets there she runs into a very unlikely character, who just happens to be a pirate from the 16th century.

Vince is a pirate, who happens to be a vampire, a very sexy one. He runs unto Bronwyn at a pirate festival and discovers he has to have her/ He badly wants her and needs to be with her always. He follows her from place to place to entice her into his arms and make her his forever. Bronwyn has firsthand knowledge about pirates now and he seems to be the man of her dreams.

Then Vince's maker comes on the scene and discover their love for each other. She doesn't like it and tries to tear them apart. Will she succeed?
