War correspondent John Langdon-Davies, in this interesting facsimile 1940 booklet, warns Britons of what to expect from the expected invasion from the air, from the menace of mass German paratroops attacks acting as an advance guard for invading forces. He recommends the use of street fighting, road blocks and the organisation of and army of armed citizens, to fight and repel the coming invasion. Davies was later awarded the MBE for services to the British Home Guard.
