When the clouds turn black and the wind blows hard and the lightning start to flash and send shockwaves in all directions, this tells us that heavy rain is quickly coming. Tears flow immediately because the human heart cannot cope with the pain. It is impossible to imagine that love and fellowship will come in the midst of evil, deceit and insolence. We must love and cooperate in the short period of time we are on earth instead of blazing ferocity. You should avoid jealousy and deceit. The horrors of what of what some people -- perhaps many people-will do to other people to harm them, silence them, kill them, torture them appear to be endless, and sometimes they appear to be growing worse. The best thing I can think of for us to do is to help our neighbors, respect other people, and speak the truth. If those things are not enough, then the horrors will continue. If those things are enough, perhaps eventually all people in the world will reach a new kind of enlightenment, and the horrible violence will cease. I think such an outcome is attainable only if humanity as a whole goes through some kind of spiritual awakening greater than ever before.
