After feeding her whole family for so many years with all the 'wow' effect recipes she found here and there or created out of nothing, the narrator's daughter has at last completed her studies in a specialised school on the continent and is ready to embark on her dream career as a chef. That means leaving her parents and siblings, and even her dear England, and of course things may not happen quite the way she had imagined. Why are those menacing people around?
