This book has been written for Oud students who have completed the material covered in the Mukhtar Method series up until the Oud Upper Beginner book. This book aims to introduce students to the practical concepts of transposition by playing musical pieces and maqamaat from different keys and in the second position. Some secondary maqamaat will be introduced, along with longer more complex pieces, many of which contain maqam modulations.
