Human Aspects of Unemployment and Relief

This is a description of the effects of the 1933 depression on the unemployed and their dependents. The author shows that public health and morale were destroyed on a large scale and outlines a plan for a more effective system of relief. He shows also that the economic system must be changed to prevent recurrences of such catastrophes.
