“Embraced” is the story of a boy named Taylor Mitchell growing up in present day kansas. Taylor lives with his seemingly strict and disciplinary father and feels that life is unbearable and hard. It is not until Taylor accidentally finds his father’s journal he wrote regardng growing up in the 50’s and 60’s that he realize that his life is not as bad as he thought it was.
