My purpose in writing this book is to have the reader experience the places and events that were significant in the life of Mary Magdalene. Also, I hope to have the reader know the rich tradition and legacy she left us. Most of all, the Magdalene's courage and steadfast love can inspire us all. Jesus, himself, chose her to be the first witness of his Resurrection-the miracle that is the cornerstone of all Christianity.
