One Day I was preparing a message that I would minister at a men’s fellowship meeting. I was studying on How to hear from God . Three of the ways he speaks to us are in dreams, in visions, and in pictures. At one particular point while in meditation I imagined a picture of the Lord standing over a pool of water. The sun shone tremulously against his back, casting his silhouette upon the water. I assumed by his posture, that he was looking at his reflection on the water. Little did I realize, in that one still moment, the Lord saw his grandeur and splendor everywhere, at the same time, and for all times to come. In a poetic format, I’ve attempted to capture what he saw, and it gives me great pleasure to share it with you.
