Isaiah– A Prophet’s Prophet

And now, behold, I say unto you, that ye ought to search these things. Yea, a commandment I give unto you that ye search these things diligently; for great are the words of Isaiah. (3 Nephi 23:1) We live in an exciting time in the history of this world. Isaiah’s admonitions and wisdom are relevant and applicable to us. The Lord has commanded us to study his words and has prophesied that their fulfillment will be in a day when the covenant God made with the house of Israel will be fulfilled. Isaiah wrote and taught using the gift of prophecy to benefit all those who have a heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear (Deut. 29:4). With the impending destruction of his own nation on the horizon, he was inspired to see our day and write about it. His words can bring us hope and draw us closer to our Savior, but first we must understand them. Isaiah–A Prophet’s Prophet was written to help students of all ages increase their knowledge and understanding of this great prophet’s words. It offers encouragement, clarity, and guidance to assist in our study of his sacred writings. Let us follow the Lord’s admonition and study this priceless record, for great are the words of Isaiah !
