The first edition recorded personal experiences and events in a spiritual movement that was new to Canada but spread across the country. It involved people in all the mainline denominations, both many who had little Bible knowledge and many who knew the Scriptures well. What was news then is history now. Al Reimers was ordained an Anglican priest in 1952 and served in parish ministry for fourteen years before being released to serve as a worker-priest. Since then his career has included counselling, teaching and computer programming, as well as six years in Christian television (100 Huntley Street) and two years with the Canadian Bible Society.
