The key issue of this book is Christ’s Headship in alignment with His Body. When Christ and His Body are fully functioning on earth with Him as head and the Body in oneness with Him, the power of His glory is manifest, and the relationship is a joy to both. This book also explores the other levels of headship as addressed in scripture. God has a divine design for headship involving covenant relationship. There is a problem though, that certain substitutes and deceptions have crept in over the centuries to distort and shift our concept of that relationship, thus diminishing the revelation of Himself to the church and the world. The causes of the problem are discussed in this book as well, and an examination of the Body of Christ based on the apostle Paul’s teaching in 1 Corithians 12:4-27 is presented. Patricia Hughes is ordained with Gospel Crusade Canada and links with various local, national and international ministries.
