Dr Oronhyatekha ( Burning Cloud ) was born into Mohawk royalty on the six nations reserve in Canada in 1841. This incredible man became Chief of the Mohawks and, as Peter Martin, a successful Oxford educated, medical doctor and an entrepreneur in Victorian Canada. He was friends with the most powerful people of the day, including John A Macdonald and Teddy Roosevelt. Oronhyatekha was raised with a people who espoused peace, power, and righteousness as their tradition and creed. He was also raised in a Victorian society that believed God, honour, and duty was their guide. He successfully merged and wove these messages throughout his life and lived as man of significant accomplishment in both worlds.
