Woollybear is a special cat, with long beautiful fur. He is just a kitten when his previous owners drop him off at the house of Josh and Beth. Feeling abandoned makes Woollybear sad and lonely. His new ‘humans’ fail to cheer him up, even though they spend lots of time with him, brush his fur, buy him toys, and feed him well.

One day, Josh brings home a special surprise for Woollybear—a Persian cat named Katie. Woollybear and Katie become fast friends and enjoy many adventures together. They move with their ‘humans’ to a new home, discover new friends in their new yard, help a lost cat, and visit the family veterinarian.
