This book contains a two-fold purpose: it shares the experiences of an African woman who developed from powerlessness to great empowering heights, and it also attempts to communicate to the world the experiences and stories of the many voiceless African women and their children. The book is an introduction to a five year on-going research on the African Women and Psychology of Oppression. The contents are mostly stories, beliefs and philosophies of African women.
