Many of the poems in this book were inspired by the aurthor of the Ivy Cole series, Gina Farago. Most of the poems deal with werewolves on a level that displays them to be magnificent creatures. Other poems in the book touch on native legends that intertwines the wolf and the orca together on a spiritual level, as well as putting the wolf on display to be admired and reviered instead of feared.
