Who Works at the Store?

Who Works at the Store? is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English/Language Arts, addressing Literacy.RI.K.1 and Literacy.L.K.1. Large color photographs of toy stores, candy stores, shoe stores, and grocery stores along with accompanying text are used to illustrate the relationship between product and vendor to young readers. A chart at the back of the book organizes the different kinds of stores, and what is bought at each, to reinforce new knowledge for the reader. This book should be paired with Sue Goes to the Store (9781448887378) from the Rosen Common Core Readers Program to provide the alternative point of view on the same topic.
