Let’s Play!

Let’s Play is aligned to the Common Core State Standards for English/Language Arts, addressing Literacy.RI.K.6 and Literacy.L.K.1. Large color photographs of children running, jumping, and playing, both individually and in groups, along with narrative nonfiction text demonstrates to young readers the variety of ways that it is possible to engage in playful and fun physical behavior. This book should be paired with Walk, Run, Skip, and Jump! (9781448886807) from the Rosen Common Core Readers Program to provide the alternative point of view on the same topic.
