Proboscis Monkeys

The proboscis monkey is named for its distinctive and prominent nose. This endangered monkey lives in the jungles in Borneo. This book describes the proboscis monkey’s life cycle, diet, and behavior–including its advanced swimming skills. Chapters also focus on the role habitat loss has played in the decline of the proboscis population as well as the efforts being made to save these monkeys.
