KONRAD Ignac was born in 1894 in Ketujfalu, Hungary, and died in 1969 in Paris. Animal painter, he is renowned for his equestrian paintings and hunting scenes, as well as for the many paintings of racehorses commissioned by owners of stables and stud farms. Some of his works are exhibited at Villa Strassburger in Deauville, France, as well as at the National Museum of Racing in Saratoga, New York, and at Festetics Castle in Keszthely, Hungary. Talented portraitist, painter, sculptor and draftsman, his works embrace a very wide range of subjects. His masterpiece "The Perfection of Man", presented in this book, consists of 24 paintings commented by the author.
