The charming Liebeslieder Waltzer, or Love Song Waltzes, by Johannes Brahms have remained favourite repertoire for singers and audiences alike, being both accessible and rewarding to perform. This edition of his first collection, Op. 52, has been arranged for SAB choirs, with fewer lower voices. It has lively English translations which follow the meaning and spirit of the original German texts as closely as possible whilst respecting the rhyme structure and metre of the poems. They are presented here with a solo piano reduction of the piano duet score for ease in rehearsal. For clarity, the German text is not included. There is also a version of this edition for SATB choirs.
