Leurs aventures menent Conor vers sa terre natale, a Trunswick, ou les quatre jeunes sont loin d'etre accueillis comme des heros. La-bas, le groupe trouve une ville transformee; le chateau a ete reduit en cendres et les habitants sont pauvres et desesperes. Maintenant qu'une genereuse recompense est offerte en retour de leur capture, a qui les jeunes braves pourront-ils faire confiance?
