On y raconte sa jeunesse, son amour du sport, l'apparition de son cancer, l'amputation de sa jambe et son entrainement pour realiser son reve de traverser le Canada a la course. Avec sa jambe artificielle, Terry Fox a parcouru les deux tiers du pays avant que ne reapparaisse son cancer. Il n'a peut-etre pas termine sa course, mais des millions de personnes dans le monde entier ont pris le relais. Chaque annee, la course Terry Fox permet d'amasser des fonds pour financer la recherche sur le cancer.
