More of the Same

This book is patterned after my essay collection, A Double Dozen and Six. Here are another thirty-two short essays on a variety of subjects. Some are autobiographical, like a nine day bout of hiccups and its curious result; the charms of strip mine country; what happens when you jog with your eyes shut; Mother’s uniquely decorated Christmas cookies; the un-scout-like lessons learned at the Scout Cabin on cold winter’s nights; a remarkable Easter ham.
