The book starts off with the author’s earliest memories of childhood and carries on through until 2007. The idea for the book came a few years ago when John was thinking back to some of the funnier moments in his life and carried on from there. He’s tried to keep the humorous aspects running throughout the book, and the stories come largely from John’s memories while on holiday in the paras and while diving.
