These six separate mysteries are each solved by four clever, close-knit siblings. The three girls, along with their brother, are each uniquely talented, which collectively gives them an uncanny multi-faceted problem-solving ability. The eldest, an intellectual, mature young lady named, “Brooke,” leads the foursome on each adventure. The sole male in the siblinghood, 12 year-old, Miles, is the athletic protector. 12-year old Nicole, who is only 11 months older than her brother, is strong-willed, but can sometimes lag behind when much thinking is required. Then there is the youngest of the siblinghood: 11-year old Kimora, who is always eager to help Brooke solve a case. The siblinghood cracks numerous cases, with each case being different and more difficult than the preceding. This series was written when I was 13 and it was loosely based on the ‘adventures’ of my closest friends and I. The thoughts, attitudes, and interactions of the characters were all based on actual behavior, and it was invigorating to capture these in the pages of this novel.
