Elizabeth Louisa Moresby was an early 20th century British novelist who also wrote under the names Elizabeth Louisa Beck, Eliza Louisa Moresby Beck and Lily Moresby Adams. She traveled widely in the East, in Egypt, India, China, Tibet and Japan. She settled in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 1919. She began her career by publishing stories in The Atlantic Monthly, Asia, and the Japanese Gassho. These stories were later put into collections.
