Echoes from Vagabondia (1912)
Bliss Carman
Echoes from Vagabondia is a collection of poems by Canadian poet Bliss Carman, first published in 1894 and reissued in 1912. The poems are inspired by Carman's travels through North America and Europe, and reflect his love of nature, his interest in spirituality and mysticism, and his celebration of the joys of life. The collection is divided into two sections: ""Echoes from Vagabondia"" and ""More Echoes from Vagabondia"". The first section includes poems about the beauty of nature, the joys of friendship, and the search for meaning and purpose in life. The second section includes more personal poems about love, loss, and the passing of time. Throughout the collection, Carman's language is rich and lyrical, and his imagery is vivid and evocative. Echoes from Vagabondia is considered one of Carman's most important works, and is a testament to his skill as a poet and his deep understanding of the human experience. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
