This book is an overview on the strange times that America is experiencing and about how the African Americans have suffered since 1619 up until the present day. The hidden history of the atrocities we as a people have suffered must be told. The book is also about the thoughts to myself and how this history has made me who I am today. I have always enjoyed history so I decided to quench my thirst for the true history of what happened to our ancestors since the first slave ship landed in America in 1619, and the absolutely cruel and unusual punishment that ensued for over 400 years, and in some cases, there are atrocities still happening even today. Since the first slave ship arrived, forced subjugation and being treated less than human still exists in this country and many African Americans are none the wiser and kept in the dark like mushrooms. This is crucial as to why we lack pride and unity in ourselves, and our communities. However, most folks black or white, young and old have no knowledge of the past and vicious acts that our ancestors were exposed to. My studies and data gathering of the vicious history our ancestors endured must be shared with the world. In my mind, we are the greatest survivors in the world and a strong belief in God and our fervent prayers are how we got over. Hidden atrocities like having our men quartered in front of their families, whipped near to death, maimed, and forced to watch their wives get raped regularly and worst of all, the cutting of black babies out of the pregnant mother's stomachs to use as alligator bait for making alligator shoes. Please share this book and understand that if we don't know our history that we are bound to repeat it. The stories I found were so tortuous and heart breaking that most days I had to turn off the computer or stop reading because it was so difficult to bear. Just when I thought I might conclude my book, I realized that things were still happening that begged my attention and I realized I would need to write a part two. Below I will introduce part one of this overview. I caution you to strap up for a rough ride.
