This is based on true stories that took place not so long ago on the coast of Honduras after a huge tropical storm. Three friends found a 52 gallon barrel on the beach; at first no one knew what it contained. Few thought that it was clandestine whisky and began to sample it and as a consequence, many died in ways not describable. The survivors called the tragedy Kill Me Quick. A young man left the village to find a job to save money to build a boat so his people could connect with the rest of the world. In his journey he lost a leg when he got drunk after he was notified of his wife’s death. After waking out of a coma, he came home to an emotional return to start building the boat that eventualy served his people for more than forty years until his death in 1973. When his second boat sank about a half-mile from the shores, he and more than fifty people died in shark infested water; not one body washed to shore, though three survived.
