Grace in the Desert is a book both written and illustrated by Kamara L. Marsh MA, LLPC. She shares a variety of losses she experienced throughout her lifetime as well as her own personal ground zero experience. She also shares a trip she took to the gulf and interviews she conducted with hurricane Katrina survivors. She tells how she found meaning in her losses and three traits that seem to be found in people who are able to work through loss effectively.
