In about the year 1980, I began recording the non-ordinary events, people met and places visited in my life. Eventually, I looked back into my past life to recount past events, people and places which came to mind for the earlier years. As subsequent years rolled by, I had assembled a list of 172 items which I consider unusual or non-ordinary in my lifetime. My next step in the evolution of this work was to elaborate on each of the parts - to expand on each of the one or two line statements. When assembled, it dawned on me that it provided an autobiography, albeit different from a usual biography, of my life. Hopefully, the treatment will render the human story more entertaining to the average reader. Having reached the middle of my octogenarian decade, perhaps a better perspective can thus be obtained. The reader’s entertainment is the effect I wish to impart. If this should ensue, the effort shall not have been merely self-aggrandizement.
