Pinewood is an epic story of a small lake and a young simple squirrel named Michael Takeda that is thrust into a position of duty and honor. His desires to be a noble Samurai like his father fuels him for success but when his life is forever changed one fateful night he is sent on a journey to seek out a wise old owl. This owl will teach him all he must know as a Takeda clan leader so Michael leaves his home and travels into the depths of the woods to be trained by this ancient creature that many rumor does not exist. Michael’s journey into the unknown brings adventure and pain as his hopes of return dwindle and his memories of home painfully fade away. Pinewood too is facing an ultimate evil, an army of rats that are merciless and blood thirsty that want Pinewood for themselves. Without Michael’s return the lake would be sure to perish however, if somehow he can make it back home then he may have a chance at leading Pinewoods army to victory.
