Normally, a life for a princess should be easy; but for Lenora there is always some kind of drama. She’s in love with her childhood peasant friend Stu, but is engaged to a jerk of a prince from another kingdom. Soloman and Isabelle also like each other, but because Soloman is a monk and is forced to live under his father’s expectations, things don’t seem like they will be looking up any time soon. Lily likes the court jester Spence (though he hardly knows that she exists) and she is also mad that Stu won’t reveal his true feelings for Lenora.
